  • What age group is the show recommended for?
    Our show is recommended for ages 12 and above, ensuring a magical experience for the whole family.
  • Can I bring my child if they’re under 12 years old?
    We do say 12+, but this is more so because the magic is more of a “serious” nature versus the general expectation of “rabbits and handkerchiefs”. We are a family friendly event, and there is heaps of fun to be had for all ages. If your child likes magic, they will have an amazing time - and we will make sure of that on our end as well! It’s a very popular show, but a very new concept to people as it hasn’t been done here before.
  • Where is the theatre of magic located?
    The theatre of magic is nestled inside RYDGES Fortitude Valley, right across from the Ekka. You can find us at 601 Gregory Terrace, Fortitude Valley.
  • How long does the show go for?
    Our magical evening unfolds with two enchanting performances. First up is our captivating close-up show, lasting approximately 30 minutes. Following a delightful 10-minute interval, prepare for the main act, which mesmerizes audiences for a thrilling 45 minutes. And don't forget about our charming pre-show, welcoming guests in the 30 minutes leading up to the main event!
  • Where can I park?
    If you are driving, there is a car park next door on Carriage Street. There is a weekend special of $20 for the garage which is paid at the pay station prior to getting into your car. The car park is 3.1m and offers full access for anyone with accessibility needs. Alternatively, there are other car parking options as well as street parking throughout King St Precinct.
  • Can I eat before or after the show?
    Our host RYDGES Fortitude Valley has two amazing on site restaurants, "Six Acres" and "Bar Gusto". There is also an on-site bar offering a wide selection of drinks and cocktails.
  • When should I arrive?
    It's best to arrive around 30 minutes before the first show starts. We've got some surprises planned throughout the night, and you won't want to miss out on any of the magic!
  • What should I wear?
    We recommend dressing in smart casual attire for your comfort and enjoyment.
  • How many seats does the Theatre of Magic hold?
    At the Theatre of Magic, we offer an intimate experience for up to 40 people per show. We believe in creating an unforgettable experience, not just a mere show. Every guest is treated with the utmost respect as we showcase world-class magic and 5-star hospitality.
  • Do you have Wheelchair Access?
    The entire show and venue is completely accessible. If you have any special accessibility requirements - email us directly on contact@theatreofmagic.com.au and we will always assist however we can!
  • Do you offer Companion Card tickets?
    We offer half price tickets for the guest and their companion. If you email us, we can help with organising tickets.
